To enter paid contests, you’ll need USDC on Base in your Longshot account. You can fund your account by sending USDC to your Longshot deposit address.
  1. Open your deposit options — Select “Add funds” in a paid contest or open the deposit flow from your account menu.
  2. Copy your deposit address — Copy your unique Longshot deposit address. If you opened the deposit flow, you can scan the QR code from another device instead.
  3. Send at least the displayed minimum on Base — From an exchange or external wallet, send USDC to that address. Smaller transfers remain pending until confirmed deposits to this address total the displayed minimum. Important: only send USDC on the Base network. Funds sent as another token or on another network may be lost.
  4. Wait for confirmation — Once your confirmed deposits meet the minimum, your balance updates automatically after settlement. This typically takes about a minute.
Your USDC is available for paid contest entry as soon as it appears in your balance.

Deposit matches

If a deposit-match offer appears in Longshot, your next qualifying USDC deposit is matched 1:1 with Credits, up to the amount shown. There is no separate cash claim: open the offer and complete your deposit. A deposit match is one-time. All active match offers are applied together to your next qualifying deposit. If that deposit is smaller than the amount shown, the unused match does not carry over; if it is larger, the match is capped at the amount shown. Deposits initiated after an offer expires are not matched. When a signup offer is enabled, it is added automatically to a newly created account and appears with the same deposit flow. Multiple active offers, including referral offers, add together for that one qualifying deposit. The match is awarded as Credits, not withdrawable USDC. Credits can only be used on prediction markets, cannot be used for paid contests or withdrawn, and expire 14 days after they are issued. Net winnings from positions funded with Credits are paid as regular USDC. Tip: If you’re sending from a centralized exchange, double-check that it supports USDC withdrawals on Base before you send.
